NE1 Newcastle Restaurant Week makes a welcome return to the city from 3rd to 9th August and there are tonnes of great hotel restaurant dining deals to enjoy.
Whether you’re a North East native or happen to be visiting Newcastle during Restaurant Week and are in the mood for a great dining deal during your hotel stay, we’ve rounded up the best hotel Restaurant Week venues for you to try – read on and get booking that table!
Hotel du Vin & Bistro, City Road
The bistro at the Newcastle branch of Hotel du Vin (pictured above) is serving up some tempting deals this Restaurant Week with two courses for £20 or three for £25. Kick off your Gallic gastronomic journey with starters like saumon fumé , followed by mains including the poussin basquaise (spatchcock poussin braised in a tomato and pepper sauce) and a classic crème brûlée or French cheese board to finish.
Siren Restaurant, Pilgrim Street
The glamorous Hotel Gotham Newcastle opened its doors on Pilgrim Street in late 2025 and we're happy to report that its equally luxurious Siren Restaurant is returning for Restaurant Week this August. Its menu offers two courses for £25 and with starters like pork tonnato, mains including roasted cod fillet and desserts like espresso panna cotta - Hotel Gotham's Restaurant Week deal is bound to delight.
Empire Restaurant, Neville Street
The grand Royal Station Hotel, conveniently located just a few steps from Newcastle's Central Station boast a gorgeous restaurant - the Empire - that's ideal for hotel dining this Restaurant Week. They're offering two courses for £20 or three for £25 and starters like Moroccan corn ribs, mains including Tuscan sea bass and desserts like macerated strawberry and elderflower Eton mess.
Quay7, Close
Quay7 at Copthorne Hotel Newcastle has a fantastically wallet-friendly deal this Restaurant Week, offering two courses for only £15. With starters like roasted chicken wings and calamari and mains including their house curry or cheese and bacon burger, it’s a varied menu with something for everyone to enjoy!
Gino D’Acampo Restaurant, Quayside
Quayside hotel INNSiDE by Melia boasts a gorgeous branch of Gino D’Acampo Restaurant with an impressive interior dining space overlooking the River Tyne. Their two courses for £20 or three for £25 deal is dishing up some delicious Italian fare this Restaurant Week too with the likes of bruschetta starters, pasta mains like scaloppine di pollo and desserts including a classic Italian tiramisú – and what’s not to love about that?
Grain & Grill, Newgate Street
Newgate Street hotel Maldron Newcastle is offering a fantastic deal this Restaurant Week with a two courses for £20 or three for £25 offer. Their continent-spanning menu includes starters like caprese salad, sticky soy chicken skewers and passionfruit posset – sure to delight anyone staying overnight!
Chez Mal, Quayside
A fancy affair awaits at Malmaison Newcastle this Restaurant Week, with their two courses for £20 or three for £25 deal. Enjoy starters like crispy coconut shrimp, mains including corn-fed chicken schnitzel and desserts like sticky toffee pudding with toffee sauce and vanilla ice cream – your belly will thank you with a feast like that!
Shark Club, Gallowgate
Located in Newcastle’s Sandman’s Signature Hotel, there are tonnes of delicious dishes to try with Shark Club’s two courses for £15 or three for £20 deal. To start, their chicken wings are legendary and their main course offerings include plenty of burger and pizza options, followed by decadent desserts like chocolate fudge cake and cheesecake. Our bellies are already rumbling at the thought of it!
The Hudson, Neville Street
Last but by no means least, The County Hotel’s resident restaurant The Hudson boasts not only a sumptuous interior but an amazing two courses for £25 or three for £20 offer this Restaurant Week – perfect for guests staying overnight. Choose from starters like goats' cheese and caramelised red onion arancini, and mains including Thai green curry and don’t forget about dessert either – Sicilian lemon cheesecake or salted caramel brownie, anyone?
