Sanco, Forth Banks

For something a little different this Restaurant Week, look no further than Sanco. Rather than offering a traditional menu, their £20 deal gets you a rotating choice of famous Neapolitan pizza served bottomless-style – keep the light on to keep the pizza coming or switch it off when you’re full. All that plus a choice of three desserts too… so you’d better save some room!

Landmark Oriental, Stowell Street

The legendary Landmark Oriental is back one again this Restaurant Week and bringing an unbeatable £20 menu to the table that’s brimming with its contemporary Chinese cuisine. Enjoy a pre-starter of prawn crackers with sweet chilli, followed by starters including hot and sour soup and duck spring rolls and mains like crispy beef in Cantonese sauce and Mongolian-style stir-fried lamb – served with a choice of egg fried rice or boiled rice.

If that’s your idea of summer dining heaven then head on down to Pitcher & Piano on Newcastle’s gorgeous Quayside to enjoy two courses for £20 – including starters like halloumi fries, mains like fish and chips and desserts like apple and cherry crumble. Get a starter and main from it’s a la carte menu, a two-course Sunday lunch or a delightful afternoon tea - all that plus panoramic views of the city and beyond to boot!

Vibey Nelson Street favourite No28 has a great deal this Restaurant Week offering three courses for just £20. Kick off your meal with starters like pork belly bites or tempura prawns and follow up with mains including mushroom and truffle rigatoni or homemade pie with buttered greens, mashed potato and gravy. And for dessert? No28’s apple crumble and ice cream certainly has our bellies rumbling!

Hibou Blanc, High Bridge

Renowned for its locally sourced, seasonal and flavour-led food, High Bridge hotspot Hibou Blanc is dishing up a seriously tempting two courses for £20 offer this Restaurant Week. Pair mains like steak frites and roast fillet of North Sea cod with starters like English pea soup or decadent desserts including lemon drizzle sponge with clotted cream and raspberries.

For a hearty and casual Restaurant Week feast, Pigalo’s three courses for £20 deal has you sorted. Whet your appetite with starters like giant frickles and BBQ chicken wings before tucking into a choice of burgers or make-your-own pizzas for the main event. There’s a seriously tempting range of brownie bowls and cookie dough dishes for dessert too.

Ngon, Low Friar Street

Take a trip to the Land of the Blue Dragon this summer with a meal at Ngon. Specialising in Vietnamese street food, their £20 Restaurant Week deal includes two courses with starters like salted egg tofu and wok-fried pak choi and mains like pho and Saigon grilled pork rice to choose from.
