Healthy Partnership For a Shindig

North East house music festival, Shindig, has announced it has teamed up with healthy eating company, ÜGOT, to form the festival’s first ever wellbeing partnership in celebration of its second ‘By Day, By Night’ event taking place on Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd May.
ÜGOT, located inside Newcastle Central Station, is hoping to revolutionise the North East music scene one festival at a time, encouraging revellers to stay healthy and hydrated whilst
they party at the two-day event on Spillers Wharf at Newcastle Quayside this weekend.
The healthy eating company will have a cold press cocktail bar, which will be offering a range of cold press juices, cocktails, reverse osmosis water, gluten free snack pots and pots
of fresh fruit in a bid to keep party-goers feeling energised.
The partnership is a natural progression for 18 month old ÜGOT, whose co-founders Joe Carnell and Jamal Edwards (also founder of the UK’s leading youth media brand, SBTV, and the face of PUMA, Google and Virgin) already support local musicians with talent competition, On The Right Tracks, where artists perform live in Newcastle Central Station for
the chance to be signed up to a record deal by Jamal himself.
As well as keeping festival-goers full of energy, ÜGOT’s co-founder, Jamal Edwards, will be interviewing the artists and DJs performing at Shindig as well as talking to fans during the
event.
Co-founder of ÜGOT, Joe Carnell, says, “We’re so excited to be Shindig’s official wellbeing partner for the festival this year. Our brands work amazingly together and this partnership
reinforces our passion to connect people through the power of food and music. We want to this to be reflected in a unique eating experience that embraces great music, innovative food and a real sense of community… exactly what ÜGOT is all about.”
ÜGOT are offering all festival-goers a free cocktail at the event to celebrate their partnership. Simply quote the buzzword ‘Hot Lips’ at the cold press cocktail bar to redeem the offer.
