Countdown to Christmas Begins as Fenwick Unveils Festive Line-Up

THE festive countdown has officially begun, as Fenwick Newcastle today unveils its highly anticipated Christmas 2025 events calendar, including the return of one of the store’s most sought-after festive experiences.

A much-loved staple in the Fenwick Christmas calendar, Santa on the Roof returns for 2025, running from Monday 3^rd November to Wednesday 24^th December. Santa on the Roof is a magical opportunity to meet Santa and his mischievous elves on the Fenwick rooftop, which will be transformed into a joyous winter wonderland. After all the excitement, visitors can enjoy a well-deserved break at Café Claus, where a variety of festive favourites will be served.

Tickets for Santa on the Roof are £25 per person, and this year, customers can book an exclusive slot for up to six people for £120, a saving of £30 on booking 6 tickets individually.

Due to incredibly high demand for tickets, Fenwick are running a pre-registration process to access the Santa on the Roof ticket sale. Pre-registration will be exclusively for MyFenwick Loyalty members only. To sign up to My Fenwick Loyalty, visit fenwick.co.uk and receive the link via email to pre-register for access to the Santa on the Roof ticket sale. From those who pre-register, a number will be selected at random and receive a link which will take them through to the ticket sale once the ticket sale is live. Pre-registration for Santa on the Roof opens from 10am on Monday 22^nd September until 11:59pm Monday 29^th September, successful applicants will be notified on the 1^st of October.

The season’s celebrations don’t stop there, with more of Fenwick’s festive favourites taking place in the run up to the big day.  Fenwick will also be bringing back their joyful plate decorating workshops and dining with Santa events, all tickets go on sale on the 10^th of October with no pre-registration required.

Plate Decorating Workshop

Fenwick's popular festive plate decoration workshop will return this Christmas. Running every weekend from 29^th November between 4-5pm, and 22nd–24th December from 3-4 pm, this workshop is the perfect opportunity to make unforgettable, fun-filled memories with the family. Tickets are priced at £12.50 per person and include festive food and drink for guests of all ages.

Santa's Breakfast Club and Santa’s Supper Club

Fenwick shoppers can start the morning with a sprinkle of festive cheer at Santa’s Breakfast Club, taking place in Colman’s Restaurant from Saturday 8^th November every Saturday through to Christmas, with additional sessions on Sunday 22^nd and Monday 23^rd December.

Guests can enjoy a hearty breakfast before being greeted by Santa’s playful elves, before meeting the big man himself. Children will receive a gift from Santa alongside a bespoke Fenwick colouring book and your very own Christmas hat as part of the morning’s activities, making for a magical start to the day.

The fun then continues with Santa’s Supper Club, running every Thursday and Friday evening from 20^th November until the 21^st December, and additionally on the 22^nd and 23^rd of December. Families can tuck into a delicious meal while being entertained by Santa and his merry elves.

Ticket’s for priced at £25 per person for Santa’s Breakfast Club and £29.50 for Santa’s Supper Club.

Afternoon Tea with Santa

A brand-new take for 2025, Father Christmas will be coming all the way from Barbour HQ to Fred’s Café for a tartan themed festive afternoon tea. With a themed colouring activity book and a little gift from Santa himself, families can enjoy a selection of Christmas afternoon tea treats. Afternoon Tea with Santa will take place every Saturday from 8^th – 22^nd November and every Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday throughout December between 4:30-5:15pm. Tickets for Santa's Afternoon Tea are £32.50 per person.

How it works

1. Join MyFenwick: Sign up to MyFenwick Loyalty online or in store (if you are already signed up – skip this step) 
2. Pre-Registration: MyFenwick Loyalty members will be sent a personal link via email to register. Complete the registration form with your details upon receiving. You’ll receive an email confirming your submission. Only one entry per email address is allowed.  
3. Authentication: Click the link in your confirmation email to authenticate your registration.   
4. Selection: A limited number of registrants will be randomly selected by a third party to access the ticket sale. Successful applicants will receive a unique purchase link via email.
