As part of ClassicsFest 2026, in partnership with The Lit & Phil, Tyneside Cinema are set to host a modern reimagining of Trimalchio’s Dinner Party this May.

Performed around you as you enjoy a full afternoon tea in Tyneside Cinema's historic coffee rooms, guests can also expect to enjoy an introductory talk from Dr Kathryn Tempest (Lecturer in Roman History at Leicester University), and special screening of 1969's Satyricon.
