The Suggestibles: The Stand

This Event has passed

You supply the suggestions. They supply the laughs! in this two-hour improv-comedy joyride - a rollercoaster of spontaneous games, sketches, skits and songs including Aspects Of their ingenious improvised musical in the second half.  If you like Whose Line is it Anyway? youll love the Suggestibles. Theyre theatrical, wildly irreverent, and utterly hilarious. Best audience suggestion wins two free tickets to another Suggestibles show at the Stand, as the Norths best-loved comedy troupe is resident here the third Thursday of every month (formerly playing monthly Mondays since 2012). Check out audience reviews cos their Stand gigs are rated in the top 5 TripAdvisor attractions to Newcastle. You can also join in games on their Facebook page to win tickets there, find them on Twitter @Suggestibles, and watch clips on YouTube and Suggestibles website. The troupe is typically made up of core players Ian McLaughlin, Bev Fox, Carl Kennedy and Alex Ross on piano, plus special guests from the UK improv scene. Because its all made up on the spot and inspired by the audience, every show is a premiere, uniquely different, and never to be seen again. Expect the unexpected!
