The Old Oak Screening and Q&A: The Common Room

This Event has passed

Ken Loach's latest film The Old Oak is coming to The Common Room for a special screening and Q&A session with members of its cast.

Set in a once-thriving mining community in County Durham, the film follows landlord TJ Ballantyne (Dave Turner) as his titular pub becomes contested territory when a group of Syrian refugees are placed in the village.

A deeply moving drama about two communities coming together, the BAFTA-nominated film is a must-see and will be followed by the chance to ask Dave Turner and his co-star Claire Rodgerson for a discussion about the making of the movie.
