Fenwick Window Reveal - Love From Paddington
Last week thousands of excited people gathered outside Fenwick in anticipation for the big Fenwick reveal. They stood in the most magical of atmospheres as the window lit up and snow drifted from above and the theme was revealed as ‘Love from Paddington’.
The opening marked the beginning of Christmas festivities in NE1 and means we can finally get ridiculously excited about the big day without anyone judging us for it. The countdown is now on and the window glows daily in all its magnificent glory. Inspired by the late Michael Bond’s beloved bear the classic scenes are drawn from the best-selling Paddington Bear books which have sold over thirty-five million copies worldwide. Paddington’s exciting adventures have been captured in the window from his first meeting with the Browns at Paddington Station, to tea in Mr Gruber’s antiques shop and in the final scene as he welcomes in Christmas with Jonathan and Judy as they team together to decorate the tree.
