Stack Newcastle Announces Re-Opening Date

Newcastle’s most innovative food and entertainment venue is to launch its booking system ahead of its planned full re-opening.

STACK at Pilgrim Street will be welcoming customers from Monday 12 April - taking advantage of their premises being an outdoor beer garden - customers will be able to book online from 4pm on Wednesday 3 March for the first two weeks up to 25 April.

Customers can meet at STACK in a group of up to six people from different households or a maximum of two households can meet to form a group of up to 10 people. As there will be no curfew this time round normal operating hours will resume, and the plaza will be open from 10am until 12 midnight daily.

We are extremely excited to reopen and welcome everyone back to STACK. It has been a long time coming and I’m sure our customers will be as excited as we are to get back. As the largest outdoor venue in Newcastle, we anticipate the first two weeks to sell out quite quickly especially given the positive response we have received on social media since making the announcement that bookings would go live.” said Neill Winch, CEO.

Advance bookings are being recommended especially at weekends, there will be limited capacity to accommodate walk ups, but you may have to queue as demand is expected to be high. A deposit will be required to guarantee your booking, and this will be exchanged for drinks vouchers on the day.

All bookings must be made through their online booking system, and due to the volume of bookings expected they won’t be accepting any booking requests via social media.

Jen Shepherd, Head of Sales & Events added; “We are only releasing the first two weeks of bookings at this stage and will release more dates closer to the time so that we can effectively manage the bookings should the situation change, and the Government adjust the roadmap. This way we are less likely to disappoint our customers.”

Following the government guidelines customers must stay seated at all times unless visiting the bathroom and all food & drink can be ordered through the W8R app – which will then be served to your table.

Neill added; “As responsible operators the health and safety of our customers and our staff continues to be the highest priority. Since reopening after the first lockdown, we have put in place extensive Covid safety measures including Covid Marshall’s, social distancing signage, hand sanitizing stations and intensified cleaning regimes and we will continue to operate in line with all of the Government guidelines when we reopen on 12 April.

Tables can be booked online from 4pm on Wednesday 3 March via their online booking system please visit www.stacknewcastle.com
