Lola Jeans Official Reopening This March
Ancient history. Almost 8 years ago the team behind Lola Jeans Tynemouth, the more than popular village food spot and bar reached out towards the Newcastle city centre. The new venue immediately hit the road running and became notorious for its skilled bar tenders, comfy interiors, and championship-winning burgers. Fast forward and a new vision for Tynemouth was realised in 2020, now was the time to bring the city centre location into line. A new contemporary feel with clean lines, dark colours and finishes juxtaposed beautifully with signature pinks, textures, and art pieces. All setting the scene perfectly for a return to play, and more importantly a clear objective to capture late-night city drinkers.
Investing over half a million pounds, the refurbishment which started at the end of January has seen a complete reset across the two floors, both front and back of house. The reopening date has been set for the 25th March welcoming everyone across the entire weekend. Boasting a new 2am closing time and entertainment across multiple nights the venue strives to create a new precedent moving forward.
To celebrate the relaunch the team are giving away a £1,000 END. clothing voucher via instagram. A token of appreciation from the founders for the support whilst closed. The giveaway is running until the 21st March.
“The venue feels much bigger, with refreshing sightlines and clearly defined areas for both food and drink. We know people will fall in love with the changes we’ve made, as we once again pour our heart & soul into the venue. We were different people back then, it’s almost been ten years, this is a much fresher look, it’s what we love now, and represents our tastes up to date.
“This isn’t a covid story, we’ve never used the pandemic in our narrative, this is simply a Lola's success story. Taking a team of 35 staff, and running towards our goal to continually improve product, service, and environment. We’re excited to reveal version two.”
