STATUS QUO ANNOUNCE DECEMBER TOUR WITH CHAS & DAVE: Utilita Arena

This Event has passed
Live Nation is proud to announce that Britains best-loved rockers will undertake the 11 date Status Quo Live In Concert returning to the Metro Radio Arena, Newcastle Monday 8th December 2014. This tour sees Francis Rossi, Rick Parfitt, Andy Bown, John Rhino Edwards and new boy Leon Cave bringing back their thunderous live show to the nations venues. Packed with hits, both new and old, taken from that unbelievable back catalogue, Live In Concert is a series of dates not to be missed. 2014 has been a vintage year for the band in every sense.  March 2014 sees the Status Quo Live In Concert go on sale but also the valedictory dates from the Frantic Four line-up of the band.  Additionally, the bands seminal 1972 Piledriver album their first on the legendary Vertigo label - is being issued as a Deluxe Edition with bonus material by Universal.  The band have also teamed up with the Wychwood Brewery to create the Piledriver beer which is now on sale in thousands of pubs nationally. Cheers! Rossi and Parfitt are undoubtedly one of British musics most enduring partnerships and the same is true of the evergreen Chas & Dave.  Masters of the quick quip but also with an ear for a catchy tune, and a knack for writing hits, this duo have become part of the social fabric of the nation, in much the same way as Quo themselves.  With tracks like Gertcha, Snooker Loopy and Rabbit always raising a smile its easy to overlook the fact that theyve played at Glastonbury, perform this year at Sonisphere and once opened for Zeppelin! With two great bands offering a night of classic hits and more, this tour is unmissable. See also www.statusquo.co.uk
