Screen Test with Michael Rodd: Tyneside Cinema

Screen Test was an introduction to the world of cinema for many children during its 14 year life span, and Tyneside Cinema are delighted to welcome the legendary TV presenter Michael Rodd. Michael Rodd brought the world of the movies to youngsters throughout the seventies, and was a regular on Tomorrow's World, where he introduced the mobile phone to a popular audience. Born in North Shields, Michael began his career on BBC's Look North, and on October 30th he'll be joined by host Mr. Steve Drayton to show clips from Screen Test, talk about his career, and present his very own version of the programme along with the legendary 'observation round'. There'll also be an opportunity to meet the man himself, as he signs photographs at the end of the evening. This is a sure to be a nostalgic night at the Tyneside with a legend of British television.
