Songs of the Bulbul: Theatre Royal

New dance work by Aakash Odedra, Songs of the Bulbul, arrives at Newcastle's Theatre Royal this July. 

With choreography from Rani Khanam and music by Rushil Ranjan, the production takes inspiration from the ancient Sufi muth of a bulbul (nightingale) bird, captured and held in captivity.
