Rambert: Ghost Dances and other works: Theatre Royal
This Event has passed
A story of love and compassion told by Christopher Bruce’s iconic “ghost dancers” as they perform Rambert: Ghost Dances and other works at the Theatre Royal. The dancers interrupt the daily lives of a series of ordinary people and visually references the Day of the Dead, driven by bewitching Latin American folk music in a intensely moving human work. A gorgeous performance and a must see show.
This triple bill also includes a brand new dance theatre creation by rising star Ben Duke, inspired by the music and spirit of Nina Simone, with a selection of her best-loved songs performed on stage. Completing the programme is an all-action work by internationally acclaimed choreographer Andonis Foniadakis.
