Rugby World Cup Official Fanzone: Newcastle Gateshead Initiative

Science Central, one of the biggest urban regeneration projects of its kind in the UK, will be the proud location for Newcastles Rugby World Cup 2015 Official Fanzone.
Located just a just a stones throw from St James Park, an action-packed timetable of entertainment is planned, along with a big screen to watch all of the matches. The Fanzone site will include lots of fun Rugby-related activities for children and families, including a rugby pitch for touch rugby games hosted by Newcastle Falcons Community Foundation. The RFU, governing body for Rugby Union in the UK, will be onsite to promote and encourage people to join local rugby clubs in the region.
