Home Educators Workshop - Roman hoards: what is a hoard and why were they deposited?: Great North Museum: Hancock

Join the Great North Museum: Hancock for the next instalment of their Home Educators Workshop this July. 

This time around, families will be exploring Roman hoards with James Gerrard, Professor of Roman Archaeology at Newcastle University. Through a presentation and interactive activities, guests will explore how hoards are found, the legal definition of Treasure, and the archaeological evidence for why they may have been deposited in the ground.
