Following Papua New Guinea's 50th Anniversary of Independence last year, the Great North Museum: Hancock is joining museums around the world to share their collections of cultural artefacts from the country.
Running until Sunday 20th September, guests will be able to explore Papua New Guinea's cultural legacy and artistic wonders in the Spotlight Space in the Hadrian's Wall Gallery.
