Big Thursday - In The Trenches: Discovery Museum

The first of The Discovery Museum's Easter Big Thursday's takes inspiration from their current exhibition, 'When the Lamps Went out: Life on Tyneside in the First World War.' Pop into the exhibition and learm more about this important historical period through object handling and re-enactors. Afterwards, why not visit their craft area and make your very own piece of trench art having seen some of the pieces in the exhibition. The Street Scientists will also be here to bring science, technology, engineering and maths to life though the medium of street performance.
