Our first joiurney to the Cosmic Ballroom will bring two of the most dynamic, genre defying and boundary pushing artists together for a mind bending debut collaborative show. Sharing a near unrivalled ability to both produce and DJ at equivalently exceptional standards, to have an ear for the experimental and the other for the dance-floor, Objekt and Batu are a match made in heaven.
Dr. Joseph will be joining them in support. After a recent tour in Seoul, Hanoi, Chengdu, Hong Kong, Melbourne and the Rural Festival afterparty in Tokyo alongside Batu himself, he is eager to return to his hometown and reunite with fellow music lovers and dancers on the Cosmic floor.
Also joining the bill, London’s Alexis subverts the ‘fearless, genre-defying selector’ cliché into something with actual meaning. Centering around ambient, techno, electro and house, her deft knack for unearthing the unlikeliest of gems has seen her occupy airwaves for NTS and Redlight Radio.
We welcome back Sarah Tobin after some stellar Ape-X performances in the last series as well as a returning Mel Webb after honing her skills and tastes in China and beyond for the past year!
