
Proper bread should be made from just flour, water, yeast and salt - and nothing else! Blackfriars' bread-making courses follow this ethos using locally-milled stone ground flours and often with sourdough starters to produce wonderfully delicious and nutritious bread. They take place in the Workshop facility and are relaxed, informative and fun. Anything you dont eat can be taken away together with recipe cards for your own bread making at home. All dough is hand-kneaded and aprons are provided though its best to dress casually and comfortably as bread-making can be a messy activity!
