Kick start those resolutions by entering The Great North Run this 2018 with Simplyhealth TODAY. Get ready at the NE1 starting line and jog your way over our iconic Tyne Bridge at the most exciting North East sports event of the year.
Expect fancy dress, live bands, entertainment and plenty of local support as you run your way to the finish line. What better way to kick off 2018 than joining the 57,000 participants as you raise funds for charity while challenging yourself.
From the start line in the city centre, the 13.1 mile route takes runners on a journey from NE1 past thousands of cheering crowds into Gateshead before heading out towards South Shields and the coast. A fabulous fun event that will have you feeling very rewarded from start to finish.
The general ballot for the 2018 Simplyhealth Great North Run will open at 00:00 on Wednesday 3rd January 2018 and will close at 12 noon on Monday 5th February.
You will be asked to submit payment details for the entry fee (£55) and for any optional merchandise you may wish to purchase. This will be ‘held’ in your account but the amount will only be taken if your entry into the ballot is successful.
All entrants of the ballot will receive an email on or before Friday 9th February to let them know whether or not they have been successful.
