Tyneside Bar Cafe
This city centre hotspot is ideal for chilling out and grabbing a bite to eat with some friends - you can even catch a movie after filling up on summer specials! They’ve created new brunch and evening menu that’s guaranteed to be a hit during the hot weather. With a range of salads, burgers and hot dogs - many of which are vegan and gluten free - they’re keeping it as diverse and delicious as ever!
Marco Pierre White
World renowned Marco Pierre White is the first British chef to have been awarded three Michelin stars, and his Steakhouse Bar and Grill in Newcastle definitely lives up to his name with its brand spanking new summer menu. It still incorporates some of the old favourites, but it’s also filled with steak burgers, classic salads and delicious vegetarian options to get you in the summer mood.
Fuego
This delicious Mediterranean wine bar and restaurant is filled with tapas, hand-made pizzas and charcuterie to tickle your taste buds this summer. It’s hidden away in the corner of the fabulous Fenwick Food Hall, so there’s less hustle-and-bustle, perfect for a romantic night for two ended with some refreshing cocktails.
Browns Brasserie & Bar
This perfectly located Brasserie and Bar on Grey Street is great at anytime, any occasion. Their new summer menu includes seasonal specials such as summer beet salad, seasonal mushroom tagliatelle and loin of lamb. If dinner’s not what you’re wanting, they also have a breakfast and brunch menu too, you could even go for breakfast and dinner…
The Alchemist
The Alchemist is renowned for it’s extravagant and adventurous, picture-perfect cocktails. But, did you know, they also serve sensational food that’s having a change-up this summer. You can dine on a Moroccan spiced vegetable wrap, a range of fajitas, steak frites, or a vegan keralan curry! The options are endless, and there's sure to be something for everyone.
