NE1 Halloween Highlights

Last updated:

It's that time of year again... time to get spooked! And our city is awash with creepy cultural highlights, theatre thrills and cool club nights to get the party started this Halloween. Here's our top pick for frightening days and nights with your friends, family and with the little ones too.

THEATRE

DON’T GO OUTSIDE

25 October – 5 November

What better to celebrate Halloween than with a trip to the historical Newcastle Castle? A place filled with lots of creepy tales. This Halloween (25 October until 5 November), the Castle Keep invites the bravest amongst you to come together and set off on a historical journey. Don’t Go Outside is set in Newcastle’s ancient fortress, in an apocalyptic world where you’ll witness the struggle of three survivors. This terrifyingly immersive play demonstrates what we will do to stay alive when the end of the world is near. Kick off the Halloween season in style with a bit of theatre at the city’s most historical spot. Live drama and spooky stories – it is genius!
