Thai Kwondo. Thai inspired Street Food event… with a kick.

Spice up your February with this Thai Kwondo battle! It's sure to have you drooling over the finest Thai Street Food in Newcastle!

- 3rd and 4th February.
- 8 Thai Vendors.
- Free entry.
- Held at Wylam Brewery, Exhibition park.

The latest in a series from 44Events that has brought 'Battle Of The Burger' & 'Argie Bhaji’ to Wylam Brewery. The astounding response to previous concept led street food events means that this time they will be turning the focus to all things Thai. Following on from battles fought, eight vendors will put forward their Thai dish for popular consumption, review, and judging. Vendors have been invited from across the region and beyond, adhering to the £3.00 per portion mini offering, and of course with the objective of foodies trying them all.

As always, vendors will be announced in the run up to the event, to maximise continued dribbling.

The stage will once again be set at the new found cook-off-colosseum - Wylam Brewery. By utilising both inside and out, the plan is to house homage to Thai cuisine amongst the best beers and friends. Again the backdrop of the event will be Thai inspired, with giant buddhas, rickshaws, and other flourishes of Thai culture that combine to make these events so special.

The event will as always be built upon a solid music agenda set by One20.

This event is FREE entry and is for all the family.

Dogs are welcome if well behaved.

It is anticipated to be a crisp winter night however in the eventuality of things being a little wet the event will be more than covered by the breweries Great Hall.

“It was always in our long term vision to introduce more specifically themed food events. They’re just so much fun. And people really get involved with the feedback slash judging. We love Thai. So it was an easy choice for the next instalment. With so much scope for content we knew we could make something really special at Wylam.”

Another date for the diary, especially for any Thai-ophiles in Newcastle!
