Sunday Breakfast Pizza Menu Launched

A new breakfast pizza menu has been launched by The Herb Garden, offering the perfect breakfast for that ‘morning-after-the-night-before’!
Whether or not it’s after a heavy night out or a quiet night at home in front of a film, The Herb Garden’s breakfast pizzas are the perfect way to start those leisurely Sunday mornings. ‘Breakfast in Bed’, ‘Fannie Farmer’, ‘Twisted English’ and ‘The Shakshuka’ are all on the menu from 11.30am onwards every Sunday.
The Herb Garden has taken ingredients from a conventional breakfast and turned them on their head, offering alternative breakfasts that are fun and delicious to eat.
Modelled on their traditional pizzas, the four breakfast pizzas give a new twist on an age-old technique, with a mix of unexpected but delicious ingredients. Chocolate, hazelnut, banana, honey and vanilla ice cream, together make the perfect ‘Breakfast in Bed’; or for the more traditional taste, but with a twist, there’s the ‘Twisted English’ with sausage, parsley, onion, mushrooms, tomatoes, ricotta, egg and rocket.
Lucy Clinch, Head Chef, said: ”We at The Herb Garden have a very long love affair with pizza. We believe the humble pizza can make a wonderful meal, so why limit them to just lunch and dinner.
“When creating these pizzas we started with the ingredients of a typical English breakfast which developed our ‘Twisted English’ pizza; we then decided to try a typical Israeli breakfast dish called Shakshuka (eggs baked in a spicy tomato sauce) as a pizza topping and it worked a dream.
“For those with a sweeter tooth we took the classic pancake toppings of chocolate spread and banana and used them in a pizza. We’ve also managed to turn a pecan pie into a pizza!
“All these breakfast pizzas are just incredibly scrummy and the perfect way to start a Sunday morning!”
To go alongside them are The Herb Garden’s naughty-but-nice drinks including their chocolate and peanut butter milkshake or their forest fruits and white chocolate milkshake, amongst others. Or, for that ‘hair of the dog’ drink there is the chance to mix yourself a Bloody Mary and make it exactly the way you like it with the ingredients from your very own DIY ‘Bloody Mary Box’.
