Raise a glass to 2015 at NUFC

SOME of Tyneside’s best loved venues are raising a toast to 2015 with a special winter offer.
St James’ Park, home to Newcastle United FC, is among a number of prestigious venues and attractions which are inviting new customers booking an event between January and April 2015, to enjoy a tempting evening treat.
Chefs from Sodexo Prestige Venues & Events, which manages conferences and events at the stadium, are offering those who either book a private dinner or choose to extend their daytime function, a complimentary drink and a selection of canapés.
The offer, which is being echoed at Newcastle’s Laing Art Gallery, Discovery Museum and Great North Museum:Hancock and at Sodexo Prestige Venues & Events venues across the UK, is designed to encourage event organisers to consider hosting networking or corporate dinners at the venue by giving additional value for money.
The drink and canapés offer will also be available to those booking any of the participating venues for social events, such as parties and dinners.
Along with a number of spacious and flexible function rooms, St James’ Park boasts one of the biggest banqueting suites in the region, capable of holding up to 1000 guests, while conference organisers can also opt for an executive box with views of the pitch.
Alternatively, Discovery Museum, at Blandford Square, the Laing Art Gallery and the Great North Museum: Hancock all offer a variety of unique and memorable event spaces and function rooms at the heart of the city.
Guests at Discovery Museum can enjoy reception drinks in the shadow of the famous steam ship Turbinia or explore wonders of the ancient world – including a life-sized replica of a Tyrannosaurus Rex – at the Great North Museum: Hancock.
In addition The Laing, which houses an impressive collection of 18th and 19th century paintings and sculptures, is increasingly welcoming corporate clients as well as art lovers.
