Peter Kay Returns to the Utilita Arena Newcastle for His 16th Record-Breaking Performance

Comedy legend Peter Kay is set to make history once again as he returns to Newcastle’s Utilita Arena on Friday 15th May 2026 for an astonishing 16th performance at the venue — cementing his status as the only comedian ever to reach this incredible milestone.

To celebrate the occasion, a limited number of tickets including premium seats, previously held back for production, will be released this Saturday at 10am.

Following four sold-out shows at the Arena in the past two months alone and continued phenomenal demand, fans now have one final opportunity to secure some of the best seats in the house for this landmark event.

Kay’s historic, record-breaking UK tour — now in its third year — continues to play to packed audiences across the country, reaffirming his place as one of Britain’s most beloved entertainers.

Caroline James, General Manager of Newcastle Utilita Arena, said: “It’s a pleasure to welcome the iconic Peter Kay back to Newcastle next May. After a series of sell-out performances that delighted our audiences, his return promises to be one of the comedy highlights of the year.”

Tickets — including newly released premium seats — go on sale Saturday 1 November at 10am and are available to purchase via AXS

Don’t miss your chance to witness comedy history in the making as Peter Kay celebrates his 16th record-breaking performance at the Utilita Arena Newcastle next year.
