House of Tides Heads South for a One-Night Takeover at Solaya Hoxton
Solaya, the French Mediterranean restaurant and bar on the 25th floor of art’otel London Hoxton, is delighted to announce a one-night takeover by Kenny Atkinson’s Michelin-starred restaurant on Newcastle’s historic Quayside, House of Tides, on Wednesday 7th October.
For one evening, Solaya’s concept chef Kenny Atkinson and his House of Tides team will bring a taste of the restaurant’s signature dining experience down to London. Kenny will present a specially curated five-course tasting menu that carries the House of Tides style to the heart of the capital, with every dish built on exceptional seasonal ingredients, refined technique and the creativity that has kept House of Tides its Michelin star since 2015.
Menu highlights include a Steamed Lindisfarne Oyster with Bonito Butter Sauce, Caviar and Walnut; Pan-Roasted Sea Bass with Cauliflower, Ajo Blanco, Pickled Grapes and Sea Herbs; and a Slow-Roasted Saddle of Highland Venison with Smoked Beetroot, Salsify and Blackberry, before a Dark Chocolate and Hazelnut Mousse to close.
It is an exciting opportunity for Londoners to experience one of the most highly celebrated Northern restaurants, set against panoramic views of the capital's skyline. The five-course tasting menu is priced at £95 per person, with an optional wine pairing and a vegetarian menu available.
