Over 150 Dogs Set to Take Over Newcastle Bar for Massive Summer 'Pup Up Cafe' Party

The UK’s premier dog socialisation event, the Pup Up Cafe, is returning to Newcastle on Sunday 28th June for a massive summer-themed gathering. Taking over Revolution on Collingwood Street, the event is expected to bring together over 150 local dogs and their owners for a day of off-lead socialising, treats, and tropical summer vibes.

Having visited Newcastle for over five years, the Pup Up Cafe has become a staple for the region's dog community. This month’s summer tour features a packed schedule of dedicated breed-specific sessions:

  • 10:00 AM: Dachshunds & Dachshund Crosses
  • 2:00 PM: Pugs & Pug Crosses
  • 4:00 PM: 'All Breeds' (Open to any friendly dog)

The event offers a safe, secure environment for dogs to play off the lead. Tickets include unlimited 'puppuccinos' with special toppings, a dedicated doggy treat bar, ball pits, play tunnels, and summer-themed photo backdrops. Local dog businesses and stalls will also be in attendance, offering unique accessories and goods for pet owners.

"Newcastle has always been one of our favourite cities to visit, and the local dog community here is incredible," says Ellie Wallace, Operations Manager at Pup Up Cafe. "We’re really excited to bring our summer theme to Revolution this June. It’s the perfect opportunity for dogs to socialise safely and for owners to meet like-minded people."

Spaces are limited per session to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for all attendees. While dogs go free, they still require a ticket. Human tickets and full event details can be found at: https://www.pupup.cafe/newcastle/
