Strictly Come Dancing Live Returns to Utilita Arena Newcastle in 2027

Strictly Come Dancing Live returns in 2027 for a spectacular new UK arena tour, with Shirley Ballas, Anton Du Beke and Craig Revel Horwood joining Janette Manrara on the road. 

Hot on the heels of last weekend’s dazzling launch show for the 2026 BBC series, audiences are invited to get their dancing shoes on and their 10 paddles at the ready for a new line-up of celebrities and professionals taking to the dancefloor in Newcastle on Wednesday 27 th & Thursday 28th January. Further casting announcements will be made soon. Tickets go on sale at 9.00am on Friday 25 September.

Directed by the fab-u-lous Craig Revel Horwood, the Strictly Live Tour is two hours of feel-good entertainment celebrating everything you love about Strictly. Expect jaw-dropping group dances, breathtaking routines, stunning costumes and live music from the legendary Strictly band and singers, all brought together in a first class arena production. 

Strictly Come Dancing Live takes the magic of the BBC TV show and turns it up to another level. From the moment audiences step into the arena, they’ll be swept up in an electric atmosphere of pure joy, surrounded by thousands of fellow Strictly fans coming together to experience all the glitz and glamour of the live tour.

On the Strictly Live Tour there is one very important decision to be made at every show – and that decision is not in the hands of the judges: which couple will lift the Glitterball Trophy? The judges are there to critique and provide their invaluable opinions on each dance routine, but they do not hold the power. This lies with the audience, who can vote using their mobile phones to decide who is the winner.
