New Spectacular and Spooky 360 Dome Show at Life

Families are in for a treat this month as Life Science Centre (Life) unveils its new animated planetarium show, Bump in the Night.

Bump in the Night follows the story of a young child who with the help of their beloved toy rabbit Rags, and a healthy dose of curiosity, finds the courage to explore strange shadows and mysterious noises.

The 360° fulldome show has been written and produced by Life’s talented in-house team and the spooky adventure promises to delight audiences with a mix of engaging storytelling, science and immersive visuals.

The show is narrated by Maddie Moate, television presenter, podcaster, You Tuber and children’s author. She said: “I’m so excited to be part of this unique new 360° show from my friends at Life.”

The show is now running in Life’s planetarium and is included in a science centre entry ticket.

“Like all Life’s innovative dome shows, Bump in the Night combines scientific themes with family-friendly fun and is part of our wider programme to engage young children in science. It’s never too early to explore science and providing little ones with playful and entertaining ways to do so helps to foster and enrich a lifetime of learning.”

Designed for under 7s, Bump in the Night will appeal to all ages, and is showing in Life’s planetarium until 7 November.
