Hannah Bayman adds a ray of Sunshine to North East Wedding Show

BBC TV weather presenter, Hannah Bayman will be forecasting her own wedding plans at the North East biggest show for brides in Newcastle this month. Hannah, who is set to marry in June 2014 will be appearing at The North East Wedding Show, which takes place at the Metro Radio Arena from January 25-26.  The show will feature hundreds of wedding experts from across the region as well as regular fashion shows and an Expert Theatre.  Brides-to-be will also receive exclusive offers and discounts from exhibitors and the chance to win their wedding at Doxford Hall Hotel and Spa. Hannah, who is from Heddon on the Wall, met her fiancé Charlie Tahir, a molecular biologist from Newcastle in February 2013.  He was so blown away he proposed to her just seven months later on the Northumberland coast. “I should have guessed something was up when Charlie arrived to pick me up for a day at the coast with a huge bouquet of flowers, champagne, ice cream and white chocolate! said Hannah.  “After a fantastic day out in Amble and Craster he proposed and I was lost for words and dazzled by the diamond ring. He just kept talking and I just kept gaping at him. Finally he asked if everything was okay and I realised I had forgotten to say yes.” Hannah and Charlie will be sharing their plans for their big day at the Wedding Show’s Expert Theatre at 1pm on Saturday January 25 and will be interviewed by the UK’s top bridal coach Michele Paradise, who will offer advice on how to look and feel amazing on the big day.  There will also be talks from photographer Phil Ryott and designer Kathryn Russell giving invaluable wedding tips as well as entertainment by Grooveline, a leading North East wedding band. Metro Radio’s Stuart Elmore will also be appearing on stage with his fiancé and producer Louise, to discuss their forthcoming wedding plans and announcing the winner of a competition to win a wedding at Doxford Hall Hotel and Spa on the afternoon of Sunday January 26. The prize will include an arrival drink and three course wedding breakfast with wine for 60 people and a glass of fizz for the toast and an evening buffet for 80 people.  Other prizes will also include a bouquet from designer Kathryn Russell and wedding make up from Danielle Jones Professional Hair. Bev Howard, event manager at the Ocean Media Group, said:  “The North East Wedding Show is going to be the biggest and best yet and will be an unmissable day out for couples wanting to pick up inspiration for their big day with hundreds of local experts on hand to talk to.  We’re delighted that Hannah and Stuart will be sharing their wedding plans at the show and we’ve attracted some great prizes for brides-to-be.  The first 500 brides-to-be through the doors on the first day will also be offered a free glass of fizz.” Local exhibitors will include Snaparazzi, Alnwick Garden, Kelly Ann's Cakes, Exclusive Yacht Weddings, Alan Gibson Photography, the Entertainment Directors, One Digital Image, Doxford hall, WF Executive, Rings by Designs, atelier de fleurs, and Slaley Hall. The event will also feature award-winning catwalk shows where couples can see the latest bridal wear, occasion wear, grooms wear and mother of the bride dresses from companies including Accent Original Bridal, Jules B, Slaters, Kate Fearnley and Kathryn Russell. The catwalk shows will take place at 12pm, 2pm and 4pm every day. The venue is easily accessible by public transport and there is plenty of parking at the Metro Radio Arena.  Advanced tickets to the show are priced at £7 and must be booked by midnight on January 24, 2014 or tickets on the door cost £9.  The event is free for children under 16.  For more information and to book tickets visit www.theukweddingshows.co.uk
