Great Northern Soul Food Returns to Newcastle!

We at NE1 think funk and food are a match made in heaven, and so are excited for the return of the Great Northern Soul Food to brighten up the Newcastle summer with another all-dayer of Soul, Funk and delicious food on Saturday 12 August at The Boilershop. It’s bigger, better and tastier than ever, with doors opening at 1pm and lasting until 12am! 
 
Newcastle’s food giants Fat Hippo and Longhorns will be cooking up a real feast; plus the return of Jimmy Mac's mac’n’cheese stall and Quaff Box – who will be serving up craft infused cocktails from keg to tap. Log Fire Pizza Co and Tandoori Naan Hut complete the food line up on the day. 
 
Soul and Funk vibes will be provided by the Great Northern Soul Food DJs, guests DJs and live bands to be announced soon.
