Exclusive Predator Themed Escape Experience Comes to The Gate

Hugely exciting news incoming! The Gate have teamed up with Escape Newcastle to celebrate the release of ‘The Predator’, Shane Black’s explosive reinvention of the Predator series, which hits cinemas in September.

Escape Newcastle will open two exclusive Predator themed escape room experiences on the first floor of The Gate on 12th September; First Contact and Hunting Park.

In First Contact an unknown alien has landed on Earth. Unfortunately, this first contact is not friendly and it is capturing humans for sport. You wake up in a containment chamber and must escape before the alien returns and skins you as yet another trophy.

Hunting Park sees you and your team on a mission to investigate a pyramid found deep underneath the frozen ice. You feel a slight tremor a short time after entering, the ground shakes and the entrance collapses. To escape you must delve deep within the pyramid and find its secrets ... but be quick as it doesn’t feel like you are alone.

Escape at The Gate will open on 12th September, 2pm-10pm Monday to Thursday, 10am-10pm Friday and Saturday and 11am-8pm Sunday. Bookings can be made now at www.escape-newcastle.co.uk.

Predator fans can immerse themselves in the full experience at The Gate by also watching the new release at Cineworld Newcastle in 4DX, surrounded by special effects such as wind, fog, lightning, bubbles, water and scents. 4DX works in perfect synchronicity with the action on screen, creating the most exhilarating cinema experience yet!
