Audio Asylum x Dimensions Festival: World HQ

2015 sees WHQ become an official partner of the mighty Dimensions Festival, and they are celebrating by throwing a launch party for this years Croatian coast trip. Its time for another Newcastle debut. Floating Points has been a long-term target of WHQ, so, much in the same vein as their delight at hosting Four Tet for an all night set last May, they couldnt be happier to now welcome him for his very own all night long performance. But simply, his Eglo Records catalogue is magnificent. With recent release Nuits Sonores receiving incredible acclaim alongside his other sumptuous 2014 track King Bromeliad. His Plastic People 6hr closing party set b2b Four Tet is yet another revelation and anyone at Dimensions last summer would have caught some funk-induced hysteria when he played alongside Motor City Drum Ensemble. They will be joined downstairs by their Liverpool pals, Abandon Silence, wholl be hosting proceedings alongside special guest, Romare. Hell be performing a live set and no doubt contributing to the diverse musical tone of the evening. His debut album, Projections, actually drops on Ninja Tune Official today, so you can expect some exciting new renditions from that. This is one of their most exciting parties to date and believe what you hear, the hype is real on this one. Floating Points on all night duties is a rare spectacle its set to be quite an evening.
