Layla Curtis Heatscapes: Tyneside Cinema

Every year an artist is selected to create a new moving image artwork as part of the Great North Run Culture programme and it is then presented in venues across the city. This year Layla Curtis has created a series of short films - shot entirely using a thermal imaging camera - and conceived a multi-screen installation specifically for The Gallery at Tyneside Cinema, transforming the space via multiple projections
