Bring your friends and family along to Sport Central in the 2014 season to support the North Easts only Netball Superleague team, Team Northumbria. Be part of the Team Northumbria family and join our girls in their fight to become the new Netball Superleague champions. Netball has enjoyed a revival in recent years thanks to its high energy and fast pace, and offers a fantastic alternative night out for all of the family. Netball Superleague is an event like no other in Newcastle Jam packed with top level Netball, fun half - time activities for children and live performances from Northumbrias very own North Star Cheerleaders. Team Northumbria are big players in Netball, competing in both of the UKs premier Netball Performance League and Netball Superleague competitions. This years Netball Performance League and Netball Superleague's run between January & April, with Team Northumbrias first home game kicking off in February at Sport Central Arena, based in the heart of Newcastle upon Tyne. So come along with family or friends to cheer on Team Northumbria and experience top flight Superleague netball right on your doorstep.
