Military Parade & Service of Remembrance: Old Eldon Square

Join the Service of Remembrance at the City War Memorial to pay respects to all former and active servicemen and women this Remembrance Sunday.
There'll be a Military Parade from the Civic Centre through to Blackett Street, before The Bishop of Newcastle begins the service at Old Eldon Square with a two-minute silence.
Please note: A number of road closures will be in place on Sunday to facilitate the day’s proceedings. Short closures will be in place at Sandyford Road, St Mary’s Place, John Dobson Street, Percy Street and Northumberland Road.
