The Charlatans: O2 City Hall Newcastle

Athough often associated with Madchester, The Charlatans were neither from Manchester or especially baggy in sound, their influences leading to a soulful sixties Hammond-driven style.

These survivors have been at it for nearly 35 years now and have a host of hits up their sleeves, bangers like The Only One I Know, A Man Needs To Be Told and North Country Boy.

Expect to hear plenty of those, as well as tracks from the latest album, We Are Love, when they take to the O2 City Hall stage this May.
