An Evening with Aggers & Bumble: O2 City Hall Newcastle

This Event has passed

From the last home Ashes series in 2013, Evenings with Aggers have been delighting audiences all over the country. Now, following in the footsteps of Geoffrey Boycott, Sunil Gavaskar and Graeme Swann, Aggers teams up with cricket’s number 1 maverick national treasure, David ‘Bumble’ Lloyd, for three special shows in October 2017.

Lloyd has done everything in cricket. An all-rounder for Lancashire and England, first class umpire, coach with Lancashire and the the national team and, from 1999, Sky TV’s most charismatic and popular commentator. Bumble is a lifelong fan and ex-semi-professional footballer for Accrington Stanley, as well as an author, journalist and columnist.

This will be a fascinating, entertaining, no-holds-barred evening for cricket fans and non-lovers of the game alike and there will be an opportunity for the audience to tweet Aggers with their own questions.

The event is being run in aid of the Professional Cricketers Association and we are raising money from the evening which will go to the organisation’s Benevolent Fund.
