Discover the centuries-old sounds of Shakespeare's plays and sonnets with this fascinating and free-to-attend Babel Lecture at Northumbria University.

Led by actor and author Ben Crystal, this lecture will explore what the accents of Shakespeare, his actors and his audience sounded like and what we can learn from hearing and speaking his works in that accent. 

Places are free, but must be reserved. For more information and to reserve a spot visit the Northumbria University website. The lecture will also be live-streamed online for those unable to attend in person.
