Unity Festival

The Newcastle Unity Festival is exactly that A unique, open air, totally free, Music Festival. Its been set up to proactively challenge all forms of intolerance & promote Unity in the community. So far, for the Main Stage, there is confirmed live performances from Natty, Panjabi MC, Akala & Ms. Dynamite. Therell also be a supporting cast of some of the best DJs the city has to offer, with new artists confirming daily. There will be a ¡VAMOS! Live Stage, a Dub Reggae Stage hosted by Serenity Sounds, with special guest Selectors & live MCs. Theres also a Dance Tent provided & curated by Inspired Events who provide mentoring & support for young autistic people & DJs. Theres a special Childrens Area provided by Little Big Butterfly with a bouncy castle, face painting, story telling & plenty of activities to keep those little people in your life entertained. As well as all that, there will be a special tent featuring Comedy, Spoken Word, Acoustic performances & a local, young peoples Steel Band. Therell be all kinds of stalls & for the hungry, there will also be a plethora of the best food vendors. Last but not least, there will be a fully Licensed Bar, for all of the grown ups.
