The Hoppings

The Hoppings is back! The worlds biggest travelling fun fair is a great historical event for all the family to enjoy. Celebrating its exciting 132^nd year, The Hoppings will be held on the Town Moor, Newcastle upon Tyne.  Back bigger than ever, we guarantee it will also be better than ever with over 300 different attractions, including Star Flyer, a brand new tower ride, making its northern debut. Other exciting rides include Crazy Mouse, The Big Wheel, and The Log Fume. There will also be a variety of food stalls available on site from hotdogs to candy floss. Opening Times Friday 20^th  June -from 2pm Saturday 21^st from 1pm with official opening ceremony at 1.30pm Sunday 22^nd from 1pm Monday 23^rd until Friday 26^th - from 2pm Saturday 28^th from 1pm Parking  With the number of parking restrictions in Jesmond and Gosforth, if you are travelling by car, we strongly recommend that you park on site.  The charge of £3.00 to park all day is modest, given the cost of a parking ticket.
