Comedy With A Colour-Blind Dyslexic Geordie Who Also Has other Ailments

This Event has passed

Comedy With A Colourblind Dyslexic Geordie Who Also Has other Ailments is an hour of stand-up comedy from Sean Turner. The comic from the north east fills this new show with audience interaction, silly impressions, jokes and stories. Oh, and stuff about dyslexia colour-blindness and some other Ailments as well.

The stand-up and actor has drawn on his personal experiences, but the laughs come first. Sean’s natural comedic instincts lead him to areas most comics wouldn’t ever find themselves. Immensely original, he regularly has audiences in stitches at comedy clubs up and down the country. This show marks his first time at the Brighton fringe. after hugely successful solo shows in previous years at other Fringes. Fans of Reeves And Mortimer style effervescence are in for a real treat with this very special act.

Ever since the moment his mother popped a Catherine Cookson novel under his nose and he didn’t have a clue how to read it, life became a series of realisations for the young Mr Turner. His parents then bought him a book with no words; instead it was filled with colours. Sean thought his book was broken as he could only see blobs where the pictures were meant to dwell. Later a doctor informed him that his eyes were red and green colour blind and he was sensibly advised never to rewire a plug. He also has an underactive thyroid in his neck which explains why he always fell asleep at work and had a massive chin.

The show tackles all of these hurdles in the only way this brilliantly odd ball comedian could. If you like something different then this is the show for you.
