No Last Dance: Newcastle Contemporary Art

Ian Gonszarow - European Theatre (2002) Acrylic on canvas

Swing by Newcastle Contemporary Art this spring to check out No Last Dance, a brand-new exhibition and one-day symposium exploring how time is intrinsic to the act of making and viewing painting.

With works by artists including Helen Baker, Charles Danby and Ian Gonszarow, the exhibition will showcase exciting approaches to painting that stimulate discussion around how artists sustain their practice with or without public recognition, culminating with a "Communities of Practice" symposium exploring its themes.
