Newcastle upon Tyne has a rich international community, which every year we showcase to the city’s international students.
International Community Day is a collaboration between Newcastle University, Newcastle College, International House, International Newcastle and Newcastle City Council.
The day will provide an opportunity for students to find out more about what is available to them to make the most of their time in Newcastle – from leisure facilities to volunteering opportunities.
The event will combine a large exhibition, with stands from community services, businesses and local support services. There will be talks on the opportunities in the city as well as interactive activities, to help students to get to know each other and the region.
