Old Newcastle Tour: Newcastle Castle

A specially commissioned guided walk around the Old Newcastle area, suitable for ages 10+. The ticket cost includes admission to Newcastle Castle on the day of the tour.
Local tour operators Iles Tours will lead the walk, which will last approximately one and a half hours. Setting off from the Castle’s Black Gate, you will journey through what was once the bustling medieval heart of the city. Find out about the Neolithic settlers, Anglo-Saxons and Romans that made the area their home, as well as the Victorian trailblazers that led the Industrial Revolution.
