Mixtape: Live Theatre

Written & Directed by Melanie Rashbrooke Bite-sized theatre inspired by music. Part comedy sketch show and part music quiz. Mixtape take songs, and using only the words in those songs, create short micro-plays that can be no longer than the tracks that inspired them. The audience play along in quiz teams. Each Mixtape is themed. First up, on Friday 20 March the Mixtapers take on Rock n Roll classics with a jukebox of hits from the Rock n Roll hall of fame. Then on Friday 22 May theyll be taking on solo artists in their Solo Stars edition featuring mega stars such as Michael Jackson, Madonna, Dolly Parton and Elvis Presley. Will you correctly guess the songs and bands that inspired each short play and win the highly coveted Golden Mixtape?
