North Carolina-based Locust Honey String Band, blends traditional songs and fiddle tunes, with numbers gleaned from The Carter Family, George Jones and others, as well as compositions from the bands fiddler and singer Chloe Jonstone revel in a mixture of different styles from string band music and fiddle and banjo tunes, to country duets, honky tonk and mountain blues. Vera van Heeringen is the classy countryfolk- bluegrass lady with the beautiful voice and imaginative songs.
