Art Sessions for Adults at the Hatton Gallery: Hatton Gallery

Art Sessions for Adults at the Hatton Gallery Hatton Gallery, Newcastle upon Tyne The Hatton Gallery in Newcastle city centre has announced a new series of free art classes for adults. People are invited to come to the Gallery to explore the latest exhibitions before learning new skills such as using pastels and drawing human figures in free art sessions lead by the Hatton Gallery team. The sessions begin on Monday 30 September with Faces and Figures. The Gallery will be showing an exhibition of paintings, drawing and sculptures based on the human form and the class will be based on the exhibition. Monday 30 September, 2pm - 4pm Faces and Figures: Create artwork based on the exhibition of paintings, drawings and sculptures of portraits and human form. Monday 14 October, 2pm - 4pm Big Draw Session: Experiment with different approaches to drawing. Monday 11 November, 2pm - 4pm 20th Century: Looking at collection of 20th century prints and creating artwork based on exhibition. Monday 25 November, 2pm - 4pm Tour of Jerwood Drawing Prize 2013 exhibition, followed by a drawing workshop. Monday 9 December, 2pm - 4pm Pastel Workshop Classes are free and no booking is required. People of all abilities are welcome. Admission to the Hatton Gallery is free.
